It is rare that an airline will have pilot wings with built in name bars. BUT a lot of flight attendant wings will have them and a lot of specialty wings, such as police department wings, will want a name bar or a banner positioned across the top or bottom of the wings. The specialty wings may have engraved in the name bar area - CHIEF PILOT, or TACTICAL FLIGHT OFFICER, etc. And then of course, the flight attendant wings will have the flight attendant's name engraved in their name bar area.
There is an extra charge for engraving the name or individual's position on the banner or name bar.
